Bethlehem: House of Bread

Bethlehem House of Bread

Bethlehem ‘House of Bread’ is a new project started 19th September 2011.

On our last charity collection at ASDA (Sep 2014) we collected over £2100 of goods. This year we have had such an abundance of donations we have been able to support other food banks.

The aim is to offer a meals service to those in need around the town. The project will be open at Cornerstone House, Thursdays 6-8pm.
A box will be in the foyer on Sundays for donations.

For further details, or to assist and/or make donations, please contact Joe/Norma Cowan at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, via Cornerstone House.

For donations we are looking only for long-life items, e.g.
– Tinned items such as soup, meatballs, pease, beans, etc;
– Dried foods such as rice, pasta, etc.

Isaiah 58:10 “Feed the hungry and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as day.”
