Cornerstone House Centre has launched its brand new interactive website, purpose built to be an online place where the people of Cumbernauld can gain key information about community activities, events, services and news.
The new website, together with its social media pages and email service, provide Cornerstone House Centre service users and partners with a scope of digital platforms through which key information, enquiries and services can be communicated.
Available online at www.cornerstone-house.org.uk, the website profiles the organisation’s vision and values, service areas, room hire opportunities, partners and history. Regularly updated News and Feature Articles will be added to the homepage, along with a revolving calendar of What’s On each week in Cornerstone House Centre’s community owned building.
Individuals and organisations can also request and book the hire of Cornerstone House Centre facilities easily and directly through our Contact Us page. Our Development Team will be notified of and respond to all such enquiries quickly and remotely.
Engagement with and feedback from service users is extremely important to the organisation, with actual and potential clients encouraged to liaise with the organisation through the website over the coming period. Mary McNeil, Development Manager at Cornerstone House Centre, commented:
“Cornerstone House Centre is delighted to introduce its new website, and we very much look forward to receiving and promoting contact with and from our valued service users through this portal.
“It is our intention to utilise the website to provide a range of news, information and opportunities for people living in Cumbernauld, as well as linking positively with an array of local voluntary, public and private sector organisations.
“We see the website as a way to increase our profile, client group and partnership work, and intend to use the platform for developmental and socially good purposes.
“As such, our organisation strives to be a the forefront of the ever-evolving digital age and we are excited by the new connections it can help us to form.”
The development of the new website follows on from the re-launch of a highly successful Cornerstone House Centre Facebook Page earlier this year. In 2019 alone, the organisation has interacted with over 6,000 people via its Facebook medium.
