Are you on the lookout for free, creative and entertaining activities for your children during the upcoming Easter school holiday fortnight? Cumbernauld Family Hub has got you covered with a fantastic week filled with arts, crafts and games.
The fun kicks off with a Giant Games Day on Tuesday 8 April 2025 from 1.00pm-2.30pm at Cornerstone House Centre (1 Esk Walk, Cumbernauld, G67 1BZ). This action-packed session features oversized versions of classic games such as snakes and ladders, Connect Four and skittles, ensuring lots of laughter and excitement for all involved.
Ideal for children and parents who love a good challenge, this event will promote teamwork, problem-solving and social interaction. It’s a great way for families to connect and for children to make new friends in a fun and relaxed environment.
The following week, Creative Kids will return on Thursday 17 April 2025 from 1.00pm-2.30pm at the same venue. This exciting session offers children the perfect chance to unleash their creativity and explore different forms of artistic expression.
From painting and drawing to crafting and making decorative pieces, the workshop is packed with hands-on activities that allow children to develop new skills, express themselves freely, and, most importantly, have fun! Parents and guardians are also encouraged to join in, making it a fabulous opportunity for family bonding.
These activities are open to all families across Cumbernauld, Kilsyth and the Northern Corridor, creating a safe and welcoming space for parents and children to enjoy quality time together. Please note that a parent or guardian must accompany and supervise children at all times. Nikki Main, Family Hub Project Coordinator at Cornerstone House Centre, said:
